This is a healthier chocolate dessert option if you’re craving something sweet after dinner. It’s free of dairy, gluten, and sugar.

Because it’s really rich, you might want to use smaller serving dishes than pictured here.

For extra healthy fat, you could mash an avocado in before mixing; I’ve done it using a similar recipe and it’s really good.

Paleo Chocolate Mousse
Instructions
  1. Place the chopped chocolate in a heatproof bowl over a pan of gently simmering water (bowl not touching water). Stir until melted. Let cool slightly.
  2. Melt the gelatin and sweetener in a small amount of warm water until dissolved.
  3. In a medium bowl, add the gelatin and sweetener mixture, chocolate mixture, vanilla and chocolate power and beat with a mixer until smooth.
  4. Add to small serving bowls and top with the cream off the top of the coconut milk can, berries, and grated chocolate, if desired. Cool in the refrigerator before serving.
