The main ingredients are cacao butter and coconut butter, so it has lots of healthy fats. Cacao butter is the main ingredient of chocolate. I used Bulletproof Cacao Butter, which “is designed to be the highest quality chocolate.” Coconut butter is extracted from coconut meat, like coconut oil, but it has a higher fiber content as it’s made from pulverizing whole, dried coconut meat into a thick spread.
If you don’t like peppermint, you could leave it out. Or if you want it to be lower carb, leave out the dried cranberries.
This recipe is so simple and is really hard to mess up. Be warned: it’s very addictive–I couldn’t stop eating it as I was photographing it.
